Protein Overnight Oats

We all love a quick and easy meal to save us time in the morning, right?

Rather than rushing to make those slices of toast you grab before you go about your day or settling for the first pack of cereal you see, try these protein overnight oats for a hearty and delicious start to your day.

 

Ingredients:

  • old fashioned oats – make sure you’re using old fashioned oats and not instant oats that you put in the microwave.
  • Milk of your choice
  • Protein powder
  • Chia seeds 
  • Cinnamon 
  • Vanilla extract 
  • Optional toppings – berries, sliced almonds and almond butter.

 

Method:

Step 1 - Combine all ingredients. First, add all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, including rolled oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and cinnamon and stir well to distribute ingredients evenly. Then, stir in your milk of choice and vanilla extract. 

Step 2 - Time to store! Seal your oats in a silicone dish and leave in the fridge overnight. 

Step 3 - Add your toppings of choice in the morning and you’re good to go.

 

There you have it, a quick and easy breakfast that won’t take up any time of your morning and will leave you feeling full all day!
